Former Manchester City star, Micah Richards, has made his Champions League prediction ahead of the quarterfinals second leg matches on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Richards predicted that it was a close call between PSG and Barcelona.
According to Barcelona’s ‘ridiculous frontline’ is an added advantage to Hansi Flick’s side.
Barcelona go into the reverse fixture on Tuesday already 4-0 up, having beaten Borussia Dortmund in Germany last week.
For PSG, they will face Aston Villa in England with a 3-1 advantage from last week in France.
Richards said, “I would say it’s 50:50 between PSG and Barcelona and that’s not me sitting on the fence. Barcelona’s frontline is ridiculous but that high line they play can be dangerous.
“They battered Dortmund but Dortmund got in three times. Against better teams they will get punished, that’s my only worry for Barcelona.”
UEFA Champions League semifinal slots will be decided between today and tomorrow week and the matches will take place on April 29, and May 6.
The final is set to be played at Allianz Arena on June 6.
Real Madrid would be hoping to upturn a 3-0 deficit for any chance to reach this season’s semi-finals. Inter Milan were 1-0 better than Bayern Munich in the first leg.
