Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has hailed Barcelona midfielder Pedri, comparing him with former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Wenger said the 22-year-old puts him on his knees, adding that he is unbelievable.
The Frenchman spoke following Barcelona’s Champions League semi-final second leg 4-3 defeat to Inter Milan at San Siro on Tuesday.
“We speak only about Yamal for Barcelona,” Wenger said on beIN SPORTS. “I would love to highlight Pedri.
“For me, Pedri is absolutely unbelievable. He puts me on my knees. The science of a midfielder is in Pedri’s legs and brain. Everything he does is unbelievable.
“He is like Fabregas, yes. They are comparable. In terms of authority and charisma on the football pitch, they are comparable.”
Pedri will make his 200th appearance for Barcelona before the end of the season.
The Spain international has already lifted La Liga and European Championship trophies in the past.
