Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has suggested why Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 in the UEFA Champions League final played on Saturday night.
Recall that two goals from Desire Doue and a goal each from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu gave the Parisians the victory against Inter Milan in Munich.
Speaking on CBS Sports, Wenger suggested that PSG defeated Inter because the Serie A side made it easier for Luis Enrique’s men with their style of play.
“[PSG’s win] was absolutely fantastic. The difference between the teams was too big,” Wenger said.
“On top of that, Inter, the way they played, they made it easier for [PSG].
“I am happy, of course, for French football,” he added.
