Sky Bet Championship club Hull City have announced the signing of experienced defender Semi Ajayi.

The Nigeria international has signed a two-year contract with the Tigers.

Ajayi previously played for fellow Sky Bet Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

The 31-year-old joined Albion from Rotherham United in 2019.

The centre-back spent six years at the Hawthorns.

Ajayi was released by the Baggies in May, following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

An Arsenal Academy graduate, he played a crucial role in West Brom’s promotion to the Premier League in the 2019/20 season.

The towering defender made 170 league appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals.

His move to Hull City will be made official on July 1.
