Osun United head coach, Seye Ajayi, has attributed his team’s performance in the 2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season to consistency.
The Omoluabi Giants secured qualification to the NNL Super Eight playoff tournament after finishing second in Group B.
Osun United defeated Firstbank FC 3-1 in their final match of the regular season to confirm their participation in the promotion playoff tournament.
Ajayi said that his team will build on the performance in the playoff competition.
“I think it’s just the consistency of the team,” Ajayi told DAILY POST.
“We tried to keep the players together for two seasons now. Which really helped our consistency.
“Well, like you know, I took over the team while in the amateur league, with God’s grace we got promoted to NNL, we spent two seasons, and here we are in playoff.
“The win has undoubtedly boosted the team’s morale and we will look to build on this momentum in the push for promotion to the top flight.”
