Transfer: Real Madrid confirm €61m deal for Mastantuono ahead of Club World Cup
Real Madrid on Friday, announced that they have agreed on a deal to sign Mastantuono from River Plate.
The transfer will be worth a fee of approximately €61 million including taxes.
However, according to beIN Sport, Mastantuono won’t be wearing the white shirt just yet.
Madrid has decided he will join after the Club World Cup, partly due to River’s insistence on keeping him for the remainder of the Copa Libertadores.
However, Los Blancos will have Trent Alexander-Arnold available for the Club World Cup.
The defender is already training with the rest of Xabi Alonso’s squad at Valdebebas.
Alexander-Arnold, whose move was finalized with a €10 million compensation fee, is now set for his debut.
