Transfer: Osimhen will go there – Al Çelikler names club Nigerian striker will finally join
Galatasaray insider, Serdar Ali Çelikler, has named Al Hilal as the final destination for Victor Osimhen.
According to him, unless the Saudi Pro League side withdrawal their interest in the player.
This is despite speculation linking Osimhen with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Manchester United are said to have held internal discussions about the Nigerian attacker as a possible recruit this summer.
Not much has been, however, heard from Chelsea despite that the Blues were heavily linked with the striker last summer.
Osimhen scored 37 goals and made eight assists in 41 games across all competitions for Galatasaray.
Speaking on the Neo Spor Youtube channel, via habersarikirmizi, Çelikler said the striker is going to Saudi Arabia.
“Unless Al-Hilal withdraws its offer, Victor Osimhen will go there,” said Çelikler.
“Galatasaray cannot pay a salary of 35 million Euros, as far as I know and see. If Osimhen stays at Galatasaray for a salary of 20 million Euros, then we say ‘Well done’. Now Osimhen has a week to 10 days to make a decision.”
According to reports Al Hilal has tabled an offer worth €30 million per year (approximately N54 billion).
Last evening, Nigerian broadcast journalist, Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba, revealed that the Napoli striker had turned down a salary offer from Al-Hilal.
