Transfer: Osayi-Samuel makes Premier League vow after Birmingham City move

Bright Osayi-Samuel is determined to help Birmingham City secure promotion to the Premier League.

The Nigeria international joined the Sky Bet Championship club on a free transfer on Friday.

Osayi-Samuel signed a three-year contract with the Blues.

Birmingham City gained promotion to the Championship from the English League One last season.

The former Emirates FA Cup champions have firmly fixed their sights on playing in the Premier next season.

Osayi-Samuel believes he can help them achieve their objective.

“Those are my ambitions too. I want to play in the Premier League and show everyone what I can do, and I think Birmingham City are giving me a platform to showcase that so I think those are the main reasons I decided to come here,” he told the club’s official website.

Osayi-Samuel will begin pre-season training with the club in Portugal next week.
