Transfer: Leroy Sane’s preferred destination after rejecting two EPL clubs
Bayern Munich star, Leroy Sane’s ‘desired destination’ has reportedly been revealed with Arsenal and Chelsea interested in signing him on a free transfer this summer.
Sane’s contract with Bayern Munich expires next month and while the Bundesliga champions want to keep him, they have been unable to agree fresh terms with the player.
The 29-year-old has been offered a three-year deal at a reduced salary which would still earn him around £12million per season but it is said he is not satisfied.
With Bayern Munich refusing to bow to his demands, it is looking increasingly likely that the Germany international will leave the Bavarians and he is not short of suitors.
Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are keen on signing him.
According to Sky Germany, Sane’s preference would be to return to the Premier League with an ‘ambitious club’, with Arsenal and Chelsea appealing prospects to him.
The report added that Sane is not interested in a switch to Tottenham or Newcastle.
This is a huge boost for both Chelsea and Arsenal as they aim to bolster their squad this summer.
Sane has played in the Premier League before during his time at Manchester City.
