Transfer: Jackson set to leave Stamford Bridge as Arsenal take stance on Nwaneri
Chelsea attacker Nicolas Jackson could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
He may depart the club following Chelsea’s decision to allow Noni Madueke to join rivals Arsenal.
Following Madueke’s move to Arsenal, the Ivorian could be the next to seek a new chapter elsewhere, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Italian Serie A side AC Milan have already made an enquiry about the player, but Chelsea’s asking price remains too high.
Romano also noted that some Premier League clubs are keen on signing the former Villarreal forward and have been informed of his valuation.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have made their position clear regarding the sale of Ethan Nwaneri to Chelsea.
The Gunners are confident that the England U18 star will sign a new contract, according to The Guardian.
Chelsea, along with a few clubs from the German Bundesliga, are reportedly interested in the youngster, but Mikel Arteta’s side remain confident that the 18-year-old will commit his future to the north London club.
Concerns over Nwaneri’s future at Arsenal surfaced after the player was permitted to hold talks with other clubs in January earlier this year.
