Transfer: It would be a shame – Mikel Obi warns Osimhen on move he shouldn’t make

Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has warned Victor Osimhen not to move to Saudi Arabia.

According to Mikel Obi, it would be “a shame” if Osimhen ends up in the Middle East this summer.

Osimhen will return to Napoli following a loan stint at Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals in 41 appearances.

The 26-year-old is widely expected to move on permanently ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign.

“I hope there is still a Premier League move for him this summer,” Mikel Obi told Metro.

“I don’t want to see him in Saudi right now because he still has so much to offer in Europe.

“It would be a shame to see him go there. So maybe Arsenal, United, Juventus and PSG too [are his options]. Let’s see what happens.”
