Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi is set to make the switch to Napoli this January window.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on his X account.

Romano wrote: “Understand Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are discussing package worth €45/50m for Karim Adeyemi.

“Direct club to club contact made today, as exclusively revealed.

“Napoli have also approached player’s side to discuss contract terms.”

Adeyemi has also been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United.

Dortmund are open to letting the 23-year-old go this month.

On his day, Adeyemi is nigh-on unstoppable. In the 2021/22 campaign, he registered 19 goals and five assists from just 29 Bundesliga games, plus three Champions League goals.

The Bundesliga website has even compared Adeyemi to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
