Brentford defender, Benjamin Fredrick has expressed excitement after making his maiden appearance for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
Fredrick, 19, made his first appearance for the Super Eagles in the Unity Cup final victory over Jamaica on Saturday.
The centre-back posted a good performance in the thrilling encounter.
He earned plaudits from head coach Eric Chelle and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi after the game.
Fredrick was grateful for the opportunity to represent Nigeria at full international level.
“Every great story has a beginning. The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step,” he said via his Instagram page.
“All glory to God for my Super Eagles debut the journey continues. Huge thank you to the manager and the incredible coaching staff for believing in me.”
