Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has said the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe have improved his team with their performances.
Ancelotti spoke at his post-match interview after Real Madrid defeated Mallorca 3-0 in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final clash on Thursday.
Goals from Bellingham, Valjent (own goal) and Rodrygo gave the Los Blancos the victory at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid will now take on Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final this weekend.
“He [Bellingham] is essential. The team’s improvement has come because Bellingham, Vini Jr, Rodrygo and Mbappé have combined more,” Ancelotti said.
“Also because we had a good balance with a lot of forwards on the pitch.”
Real Madrid have improved in recent weeks across all competitions.
Ancelotti’s side have not lost a game in their last eight matches, winning seven and drawing one.
They currently sit at the top of the LaLiga table with two points ahead of second placed Atletico Madrid, who have a game in hand.
Real Madrid will hope to win their first title this year when they face Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday.
