Signing Osimhen could ruin you – Galatasaray warned

Turkish sports commentator, Ertem Şener has cautioned Galatasaray over signing Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Şener claimed that the financial implications of signing the Nigeria international on a permanent basis could make Galatasaray go bankrupt.

Galatasaray are desperate to sign the 26-year-old this month on a permanent transfer.

This follows Osimhen’s wonderful season-long loan in which he scored 37 goals across all competitions for the Turkish champions.

However, Şener has now kicked against Galatasaray signing the former Lille star.

Osimhen’s total package, including transfer fee and wages is estimated to cost the Turkish champions around €150 million.

“I’m not in favour of Galatasaray buying Victor Osimhen,” Şener said via habersarikirmizi.

“You’ll pay €25 million in annual salary and €70–75 million in transfer fees. This means bankruptcy.”
