President Federation Cup: Abakaliki FC stun Enyimba, Rangers, Plateau United scale through

Abakaliki FC produced a superb display to eliminate four-time champions Enyimba 2-0 in the Round of 16 of the 2025 President Federation Cup on Wednesday.

Chukwudi Okoro and Daniel Eni scored both goals for the Nigeria National League, NNL outfit in the encounter played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

Abakaliki FC have set up a match against Nasarawa United following the remarkable victory.

In Lagos, Rangers won the battle of former champions, narrowly beating Bendel Insurance 1-0.

Experienced striker Godwin Obaje scored the decisive goal from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time.

The Flying Antelopes will play against Plateau United in the next round.

Plateau United recorded a 2-1 win over Osun United in their Round of 16 contest.

Sam Pam and Daniel Itodo were on target for Plateau United, while Osun United got their goal through Ganiyu Gberefun.

In another Round of 16 encounter, Ikorodu City defeated Beyond Limits FA 2-0.

After a goalless first half, Harison Austin and Shola Adelani hit the target within five minutes to book Nurudeen Aweroro’s passage into the last eight.

The Oga Boys will lock horns with NNL outfit Wikki Tourists in the quarter-final.

Wikki Tourists secured a place in the last eight after edging past Warri Wolves 4-3 on penalties.

The game ended 1-1 in regulation time.
