President Federation Cup: Abakaliki coach relishes giant killing feat against Enyimba

Abakaliki FC head coach, Star Plus has talked up his team’s President Federation Cup win over Enyimba.

The Nigeria National League, NNL, club defeated Enyimba 2-0 in a Round of 16 fixture at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Wednesday.

Plus stated that adequate preparation and determination was key to the win against the People’s Elephant.

“We are very excited with the win over Enyimba,” Plus told Abakaliki FC media.

“We defeated Katsina United and now Enyimba, we have an edge in the competition at this stage.

“Adequate preparation and commitment helped us secure victory in the game.”

Abakaliki FC will take on Nasarawa United in the quarter-final stage of the competition.
