Plumptre elated to make Super Falcons return
Ashleigh Plumptre has expressed his happiness after returning to action for the Super Falcons following a lengthy injury layoff.
Plumptre missed the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris after undergoing surgery for a cruciate ligament injury in April.
The defender returned to action for his Saudi club, Al Ittihad in October.
The former Leicester City player was in action for Nigeria in the 2-1 friendly loss to Les Bleues of France last weekend.
She took to social media to celebrate her return to action.
“A long road back but was happy to meet with this bunch again,” she wrote on Facebook.
