Olayinka seeks divine help after successful surgery

Red Star Belgrade forward Peter Olayinka is leaning on spiritual inspiration after his injury setback.

The forward is expected to be sidelined for around nine months due to a Achilles tendon injury.

Olayinka sustained the injury in Red Star Belgrade’s UEFA Champions League away clash at AS Monaco.

The 29-year-old undergone successful surgery in Finland on Wednesday.

The former Slavia Prague striker is banking on God’s strength to overcome the setback.

“In the midst of your struggles, God is your constant companion. He whispers peace into your soul and gives you strength to face another day Isaiah 26:3 God is the greatest,” he wrote on X.
