Nasarawa Amazons players have been rewarded with a sum of N25m for their impressive performance in the 2024-25 season.
The club’s technical crew also received the sum of N5m for their contribution.
The Lafia-based club finished as runners-up in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six playoff and the President Federation Cup respectively.
Nasarawa State governor, Abdulahi Sule made the donation after receiving the players at a reception in Lafia.
Sule also gave a brand new Toyota Hiace bus to the team.
Nasarawa Amazons lost 4-3 on penalities to Rivers Angels in the final match of the Federation Cup in Lagos.
