NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons dominate Team of the Season
Four Nasarawa Amazons players have been named in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Team of the Season.
The quintet are Janet Akekeromowei, Joy Igbokwe, Matthias Josephine and Jumoke Alani.
Akekeromowei and Alani also won the most Valuable Player and the best defender awards at the Super Six playoff tournament.
Remo Stars trio Bolaji Olamide, Ibrahim Hannah and goalkeeper Charlotte Adjei also made the selection
Bayelsa Queens duo of Mariam Aderemi and Blessing Abiola were also included in the list.
Other players in the list are Rivers Angels forward Mary Moses and Edo Queens midfielder Kafayat Mofisere.
Bayelsa Queens boss Whyte Ogbonda was named the best coach of the season.
