Niger Tornadoes’ top scorer, Joseph Godstime, is set to make a return for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 36 clash with Abia Warriors.

Godstime has been sidelined since the start of the second stanza due to injury.

The striker returned to full training with the team this week.

The Ikon Allah Boys are battling to escape relegation this season.

Godstime is upbeat they will maintain their top-flight status at the end of the season.

“Thank God now, I’m back in the team with the zeal and grace of God to make it happen. We have just three games to go, and I believe in myself and my teammates and what we are capable of doing to make sure that the team is safe from relegation,” Godstime told Niger Tornadoes media.

“I know I’ll not be able to do it alone without the help of my teammates, but I believe and have this strong hope that we are going to win the match.”

Niger Tornadoes will trade tackles with Abia Warriors at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, on Wednesday (today).
