Nasarawa United and Sunshine Stars won on the road in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Saturday.

At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, Kabiru Dogo’s Nasarawa United beat hard-fighting Ikorodu City 2-1.

Anas Yusuf gave the visitors the lead one minute before the break.

The hosts equalised through Chilaka Thankgod three minutes after the break.

Kabiru Balogun, however, scored the winning goal for Nasarawa United in the 65th minute.

The win was Nasarawa United’s first in the NPFL this season.

Ikorodu City are winless after four matches in their maiden campaign in the NPFL.

In Uyo, Chinedu Nwosu and Seth Mayi were on target in Sunshine Stars’ 2-1 win over Akwa United.

Wisdom Ndon scored Akwa United’s only goal of the game.

The remaining matchday four matches will be played on Sunday.
