NPFL: Musa to lead Kano Pillars attack despite general manager role
Ahmed Musa will continue playing for Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, club, Kano Pillars despite his current status as general manager of the club.
Musa was appointed general manager of the four-time NPFL champions last weekend.
The former Leicester City player officially assumed the role on Monday.
The 32-year-old is, however, not ready to quit the game yet, as he will lead the team’s attack in the 2025/26 season.
Musa trained with his teammates at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Tuesday.
The Sai Masu Gida are yet to appoint a substantive technical adviser following the exit of Usman Abdallah.
