Lobi Stars have embarked on break following the conclusion of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The players and officials are expected to resume back on Monday, June 9th, 2025.

The Pride of Makurdi were relegated to the second tier league after finishing bottom in the recently concluded season.

Lobi Stars registered six wins, 10 draws and 22 defeats in the season.

“Lobi Stars Football Club have declared 9th of June, 2025 as resumption date to begin preparation ahead of new season,” Lobi Stars wrote on their Facebook page.

“In a brief address to staff and players, the Team Manager, Mr. Lawrence Adoga, speaking on behalf of the Chairman, Dr. Phillip Nongu and board, announced that the club will be embarking on a short break from official duties.

“He emphasized that any further updates or changes regarding the resumption and other matters will be duly communicated ahead of time.”
