NPFL: Katsina United end Heartland’s unbeaten run

Katsina United has halted Heartland’s four-game unbeaten streak, inflicting a 1-0 defeat on the Naze Millionaires in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 23 encounter on Friday.

Emmanuel Amuneke’s Heartland won two and drawn two of their four previous games.

The two teams failed to register a goal in the first half.

Mohammed Ibrahim however fired home the winning goal 16 minutes from time.

Heartland remain in 11th position despite the defeat.

The win propelled Katsina United to 13th position on the log.

United will be away to Lobi Stars in their next league game, while Heartland will host Shooting Stars.
