Kano Pillars will start pre-season training ahead of the 2025/26 season on Monday, DAILY POST reports.

The players and officials were granted a one-month break following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

All the retained players and new signings are expected in camp on the first day of training.

The Sai Masu Gida are yet to appoint a new technical adviser following Usman Abdallah’s departure last month.

Assistant coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro Yaro is expected to take charge of the team pending the appointment of a substantive technical adviser.

Kano Pillars finished in ninth position last season with 53 points from 38 matches.

The new season will kick-off on Friday, 22 August, 2025.
