Kano Pillars duo, Abdulmajid Aminu and Sani Haliru, have received invitation to the Flying Eagles ahead of the WAFU B U-20 Championship.

Aminu is a forward, while Haliru is a midfielder.

Aminu made his professional debut in Kano Pillars’ opening fixture of the season against Ikorodu City.

Halliru has made two appearances for the Sai Masu Gida this season.

The two players have already started training with the Flying Eagles in Abuja.

Togo will host the WAFU tournament from Thursday October 17 to October 31.

The competition will also serve as qualifier for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
