Joseph Atule is on the verge of completing a move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Abia Warriors.
Atule is reportedly finalising a short-term deal with the Umuahia-based club.
The energetic forward’s move to Imama Amapakabo’s side is expected to be a major boost ahead of their maiden campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
Atule turned down a contract extension from eight-time NPFL champions Enyimba at the end of the 2024–25 season.
He scored two goals for Enyimba in continental competitions last season.
Atule, however, was left out of the final list of the Super Eagles B team for the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship tournament.
