NPFL: Akwa United vs Bendel Insurance clash gets new date

The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 16 fixture involving Akwa United and Bendel Insurance has been postponed.
The encounter has been moved to Monday, December 9 from the initial date of Sunday, December 8.
The game will kick off at 4 pm.
The match was shifted due to the CAF Confederation Cup game between Enyimba and Egyptian giants Zamalek at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday.
The venue is the home ground of Akwa United in the NPFL.
The Promise Keepers will host Bendel Insurance at the same venue on the new date.
The rearrangement was contained in a letter signed by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer, COO, of the league.
