Abia Warriors defender, Prince Okorie has returned to training after an injury layoff, DAILY POST reports.

Okorie has been battling with an unnamed injury since the start of the year.

The 22-year-old centre-back took part in training on Friday.

Abia Warriors expressed happiness with his return to training ahead of the business end of the campaign.

“After weeks of recovery and hard work Prince Okorie is back on the pitch. The wait is over and he is ready to give his all for the team again,” Abia Warriors wrote on X.

Abia Warriors will trade tackles with Sunshine Stars in a matchday 23 clash at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday.
