Wikki Tourists have embarked on a 10-day break after securing the ticket to the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Eight playoff tournament.
The break will run from Sunday June 1 to Wednesday 10 June, 2025.
The club’s management stated that the short recess is aimed is to allow players eunite with their families, refresh, and recharge ahead of the playoff competition.
They believed that the break would drive the team to success in the Super Eight.
“Management is optimistic that the same energy and focus will drive the team to success in the Super 8 and ultimately, a return to the NPFL next season,” Wikki Tourist wrote on their Facebook page.
“Training resumes at 4:00 PM on June 11th at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.”
DAILY POST reports that Wikki Tourist and Barau FC are the top two teams who qualified from the NNL Group C, respectively.
