Crown FC head coach, Ayodeji Ayeni, has revealed the team’s mission ahead of the Nigeria National League promotion play-offs.

Ayeni said that the Super Eight play-off is an important competition for every player in the second-tier league.

Crown FC will battle with seven other teams for the four available slots for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, next season.

“We’re ambitious and we’ll do our best,” Ayeni said ahead of the play-off competition in Asaba on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

“The Super 8 is an important competition for every player, and we are all looking forward to giving our best to do the state proud.”

DAILY POST recalls that Crown FC last played in the NPFL in 2014.
