Osun United head coach Seye Ajayi, has urged his team not to relent in their bid to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Gladiators occupy the top position in Group B with four points from two matches after the 1-1 draw against Crown FC in Asaba on Monday.

Ajayi commended his players for their performance in the Nigeria National League, NNL, Super 8 playoffs.

Osun United must avoid defeat in their final group match to qualify for the NPFL next season.

“We need to go back and re-evaluate ourselves so as to reinvigorate our passion in a bid to secure promotion tickets,” Ajayi told the club’s media.

“But in all, I salute my boys, they made us happy. A point is better than nothing at this stage.”
