The Nationwide League One (NLO) has opened an investigation over a match-fixing incident in a matchday nine fixture at the Maracana center in Lagos.
The fixture under investigation is the ACT Sports Di Oyibo 2-9 loss to seamoriow game , and the Francexx 9-0 win over Bison.
The league body made the revelation in a statement on the social media.
The NLO stated that the results of the two matches are going to be subjected to serious scrutiny to determine if there is a match compromise that can bring the game to disrepute due to build-up to the match.
Sequel to the actions, the league body has suspended the league table pending the decision of the investigation on the match.
DAILY POST recalls that Francexx and BISON have earlier failed to honour the match, but rescinded on their decision following a threat of ban from the league organisers.
