Mary Earps reveals birth of ‘secret’ baby boy with partner Kitty Forrest
Former England Lioness Mary Earps has revealed the birth of a ‘secret’ baby boy with her partner Kitty Forrest.
Earps revealed a year ago that she was in a same-sex relationship with Forest but had not disclosed any details about the pregnancy until a surprise announcement on Friday.
‘I’ve been keeping a little secret from you all, and I don’t think I can talk my way out of this one, so I’m going to have to show you,’ Earps said at the start of her video on YouTube.
At the end of the video, Earps revealed that ‘Baby Forrest Earps’ was born on November 5.

In a separate announcement on Friday evening, Earps revealed her son’s name is Xander.
In her Instagram post, Earps wrote: ‘I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but yesterday Kitty and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world!
‘We’re absolutely over the moon and still trying to take it all in. It’s been such an emotional journey getting to this point, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter of our lives as a family of three.
‘Already a full-time footballer, and now a full-time mum too! There’s so much I’m looking forward to sharing with you all as I navigate life in football, motherhood and everything in between. I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride!
‘For now, we’re soaking up every second of our little bubble.
‘Thank you for all the love and support along the way. It means more than you know, and I’m so excited to share this new adventure with you all.
‘Baby name to be revealed! Our greatest adventure starts here.’
Earps, who retired from international football in May last year, returned to England in the summer to sign for London City Lionesses having spent the last two seasons with Paris Saint-Germain.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper had played an integral role in the Lionesses’ success at Euro 2022.
Earps also won the Women’s Finalissima, the SheBelieves Cup and the Arnold Clark Cup twice during her time with England, while she was also in goal for the Lionesses defeat to Spain in the World Cup final in 2023.
