LaLiga: Flick names three Barcelona players he will bench against Real Madrid
Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, has confirmed that Robert Lewandowski, Alejandro Balde and Marc Casadó are all fit for Sunday’s Clásico.
However, Flick has revealed the trio will not be selected in his starting XI against Real Madrid.
Lewandowski made a cameo as a late substitute in the Champions League defeat to Inter Milan in midweek, after missing four games with a hamstring injury.
Balde has been unavailable for their last seven matches, including the Copa del Rey final and both Inter games.
Casadó has been sidelined with a knee problem since March.
“As starters, I don’t think the moment is right for them,” Flick told reporters, when asked if Lewandowski or Balde could start.
“Ferran [Torres] in attack and Gerard [Martín] at left-back are doing very good.
“Casadó is also available. But we have to take care. We have three more league matches after Madrid. Tomorrow is more for them to come on in the second half.”
