Galatasaray intensifies moves to sign Osimhen permanently

Galatasaray have intensified efforts to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal after their recent triumph in the Turkish Cup.

This was disclosed by renowned Galatasaray journalist Serhan Turk.

According to Turk, Abdullah Kavukcu, one of the key figures authorized to lead transfer negotiations at Galatasaray, has already held important discussions with both Osimhen and his representatives.

The discussion reportedly included detailed financial negotiations, which have now been finalized, signaling a major step forward in the potential deal.

“Osimhen said he will stay,” Türk was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.

“But the support he receives—especially from Galatasaray fans during the upcoming match against Kayserispor—could prove decisive.

“His hesitation is actually working in Galatasaray’s favor as they push to convince him.

“They told him, ‘We want to be at the transfer table. If you choose us, we will be happy together.’”

Osimhen, 26, is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli and his deal will expire this summer.

The Nigerian, who is expected to leave Napoli permanently at the end of the season, has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United.
