FA Cup: Amorim confirms Man Utd keeper for Arsenal clash
Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim has confirmed that goalkeeper Altay Bayindir will play against Arsenal in the FA Cup third round tie.
Amorim’s side will face the Gunners in the FA Cup clash on Sunday evening at Emirates Stadium.
The Red Devils head to the game following a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in the Premier League in their last game.
Arsenal, meanwhile, were defeated 2-0 against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.
Speaking ahead of the game, Amorim confirmed Bayindir will start in goal against Mikel Arteta’s side.
Bayindir replaced Andre Onana in Man United’s 4-3 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup.
“I don’t rotate because I want to rotate,” Amorim said.
“I’m trying to find the best solutions to win the game. I put the guys in who are more fresh to cope with the demands of the game.
“The goalkeeper position is different, so it’s a good question. Altay will play.”
