Ex-Arsenal midfielder Rosicky hospitalized
Tomas Rosicky, a former Arsenal player, was hospitalized after experiencing ‘heart-related issues’ last week Tuesday.
This was disclosed in a statement by Sparta Prague on Monday.
Rosicky, a former Gunners midfielder, who is now the sporting director of Sparta Prague, was rushed to intensive care for more assessment.
It was later decided that the former Czech Republic international didn’t require surgery.
“Our sporting director, Tomas Rosicky, was unexpectedly hospitalized in the intensive care unit last Tuesday due to heart-related issues,” Sparta Prague’s statement partly read.
“Fortunately, no surgery was required. Tomas, you have our full support. We’re all thinking of you.”
Sparta Prague, however called on fans to show their support to the 44-year-old.
The club added that Rosicky is now at home recovering.
