Europa League Final: Danny Murphy predicts winner of Man Utd vs Tottenham

Former Liverpool star, Danny Murphy has given his predictions for the UEFA Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

Man United will clash with Spurs in an all-English Europa League final on Wednesday night in Bilbao.

Both teams had booked their places in the final after beating Athletic Bilbao and Bodø/Glimt, respectively in the semi-final encounter earlier this month.a

Stating his prediction, Murphy tipped Tottenham to beat the Red Devils.

“My Tottenham roots pull me towards them and I want them to win [the Europa League] of course,” Murphy told Match of the Day 2.

Meanwhile, Serie A side Atalanta are the defending champions of the Europa League.

They won it in 2024 after beating Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.

The goals was scored by Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
