EPL: Osimhen reaches transfer agreement with Manchester United

Galatasaray attacker, Victor Osimhen has reached personal terms with Premier League side Manchester United ahead of a potential summer move.

This was disclosed by respected Turkish journalist Serdar Çelikler.

“Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement with Manchester United. But there is also the club side of the matter,” Çelikler said on a podcast.

Man United are reportedly keen to sign a new top striker this summer transfer window given Rasmus Hojlund’s dismal form this season.

Osimhen could end up moving to Old Trafford at the end of the season as Man United manager Ruben Amorim is understood to want struggling Hojlund gone in the summer.

While the personal terms have reportedly been agreed, Man United need to strike a deal with Napoli for Osimhen’s signature.

The Nigeria international is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Serie A side Napoli.

The 26-year-old has been brilliant for the Turkish giants this season.

Osimhen has scored 29 goals and provided six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.

He has a release clause worth €75 million (£63m), but reports suggest Napoli are prepared to offer Man United a discount.
