EPL: Iwobi battles five players for Fulham’s Goal of the Month

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has been nominated for the Fulham’s Goal of the Month for April.

Iwobi was nominated for his goal in Fulham’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Craven Cottage on April 20.

The 29-year-old slotted the ball past Robert Sanchez from the edge of the box in the 20th minute of the encounter.

The goal was his ninth of the season for Marco Silva’s side.

Nigeria-born midfielder Chibuzo Nwoko is also nominated for his strike in Everton’s U-21 clash with Nottingham Forest on April 28.

Rodrigo Muniz, Ryan Sessegnon, Seth Ridgeon and Emile Smith Rowe are the other players nominated for the award.
