Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has claimed he is not bothered about Kyle Walker’s potential exit from the Premier League club.
On Saturday, Guardiola revealed that Walker wanted to leave the Etihad, following an 8-0 win over Salford in the FA Cup third round.
The 34-year-old is being linked with clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia.
Walker could leave City as early as this month, with Serie A giants AC Milan the current favourites for his signature.
But Guardiola could yet include Walker in his squad for Tuesday’s Premier League game at Brentford.
Speaking to reporters, he however insisted he is not worried about the England defender departing.
“I’m so clever. I’m such a talented manager to find the right solution. Kyle is our player right now – that is all. We have the option. I don’t know what’s going to happen.
“I don’t have anything else [to add] – and Brentford is on my mind,” Guardiola said.
