Desouza, Ikhenoba scoop NPFL February awards

Abia Warriors forward, Antoine Desouza, has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Player of the Month for February.

Desouza beat Kingsley Maduforo (Rangers), Sikiru Alimi (Remo Stars), Bello Lukman (Katsina United), Kayode Oke (Bendel Insurance), and Ubong Friday (Rivers United) to the award.

The striker was on target three times in four league outings for Abia Warriors during the month.

Bendel Insurance’s Greg Ikhenoba claimed the Manager of the Month prize.

Insurance won five, drew one, and lost one in seven outings during the month under review.

Ikhenoba will look to guide the Benin Arsenals to another win when they visit Abia Warriors on Sunday.
