Club World Cup 2025: 4 teams qualify for Round of 16

Juventus and Manchester City have become the latest teams to qualify for the Round of 16 at the ongoing Club World Cup in the United States.

The Serie A side has opened their campaign with a commanding 5-0 win over Al Ain on Sunday.

They have now beaten Wydad AC 4-1 to book their spot in the knockouts.

Kenan Yildiz scored twice and played a key role in an own goal as Juventus out classed their Moroccan opponents.

In the same Group G, Manchester City thrashed Al Ain 6-0.

Ilkay Gündogan scored twice, Erling Haaland grabbed his first goal of the tournament, while Claudio Echeverri, Oscar Bobb and Rayan Cherki also got on the scoresheet.

Juventus and Manchester City both join Bayern Munich and Flamengo as the teams assured of a place in the next round.
