Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has expressed optimism ahead of his team’s CAF Confederation Cup second leg clash against Malian side, Djoliba FC.
The Umuahia-based club were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium last Sunday.
Abia Warriors will lock horns with Djoliba in the reverse fixture at the Stade Mamadou Konaté on Sunday.
Amapakabo that his team will improve on their performance in the game.
“It’s something I will have to go back and work on, and I also believe it’s possible. I’m a very optimistic person; I don’t give up no matter what.” Amapakabo told Completesports.
Abia Warriors are making their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
