Former Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye came off the bench to score on his CAF Confederation Cup debut as Enyimba thrashed Black Bulls of Mozambique 4-1 on Sunday evening.

It was Enyimba’s first win in the group stage of the competition.

The People’s Elephant took the lead after six minutes through Joseph Atule.

Ejaita Ifoni, however, equalised for the visitors six minutes later.
Ifeanyi Ihemekwele restored the home team’s lead in the 45th minute.
Ideye increased Enyimba’s lead in the 68th minute, dribbling past Black Bulls goalkeeper before slotting the ball home.
Atule got his second of the game on the dot of the 90th minute.

Enyimba are now third in Group D standings with four points from four matches.
