Barcelona midfielder, Gavi, has named his top two pick for the 2025 Ballon d’Or award.
The Spaniard believes that his teammates, Lamine Yamal and France forward, Ousmane Dembele are in the Ballon d’Or race.
For Gavi, Dembelè will only finish in the top-three while Yamal, 17, deserves to win the accolade.
Many football pundits and fans believe that Dembele should be crowned the best player in the world.
This was after the Frenchman fired PSG to Champions League glory this season.
The Ligue1 giants beat Inter Milan 5-0 in the Champions League final last weekend.
“Dembele has had an incredible season and should be in the top three for sure, but what Lamine has done this season is exceptional, a unique player,” he told Catalunya Radio, as Goal reported.
Yamal scored 18 goals and provided 25 assists in 55 games across all competitions in the recently concluded season.
The Spain international helped Barcelona claim a domestic treble of LaLiga, Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.
