Arsenal defender, Riccardo Calafiori has claimed that former Liverpool striker, Luis Suarez is better than former AC Milan attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Both Suarez and Ibrahimovic are among the greatest strikers to have graced the sport.
Ibrahimovic retired from professional career in 2023, while Suarez is still playing with MLS club Inter Miami.
The duo both played for multiple clubs through out their careers.
Ibrahimovic played for the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Juventus, Inter Milan and Ajax, while Suarez played for the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Ajax and Gremio.
They both have over 555 career goals across club and country.
However, Calafiori recently sat down with GOAL Fan Zone to select the best among players that played in Serie A and Premier League.
The Italian compared some greats while also making an interesting comparison between Ibrahimovic and Ibrahimovic.
He admitted that Ibrahimovic is a legend, but picked Suarez over the Swede.
